A: Just yourself. Wear comfortable clothing, stay hydrated, and arrive just a few minutes early to ground your energy.

Q: How soon after giving birth can I book a session?
A: Most women can receive bodywork after 4–6 weeks, depending on the birth experience. Always check with your provider if you’re unsure. Postpartum sessions are gentle, grounding, and supportive for the core, pelvic floor, and nervous system.

A: Somatic healing is a body-based approach that helps release stored stress and trauma from the nervous system. Instead of focusing only on the mind, it works through breath, sensation, therapeutic touch, and movement to help you feel calmer, safer, and more connected to your body.
Q: Is this painful?
A: No, absolutely not. If performing more deep tissue I would explain it as more sensational - however it is important that we find your unique therapeutic threshold. These sessions encourage the release of endorphins (the feel good hormones).
Q: How is somatic healing different from traditional massage or talk therapy?
A: Focusing on the body's physical sensations (tension, posture, movement) as the primary pathway to process emotions and trauma, unlike talk therapy's focus on cognitive insight or traditional massage's physical relief; it integrates mind-body awareness, breathwork, and gentle movement to release stored stress, aiming for coherence between felt sense and mental understanding, not just talking about problems or relaxing muscles.
Q: Do I need to be “in crisis” to benefit from somatic healing?
A: No, you absolutely do not need to be in a crisis to benefit from somatic healing; it's highly effective for everyday stress, chronic anxiety, feeling disconnected, poor sleep, general life challenges, and for going deeper than talk therapy, helping you process stored trauma, improve focus, and increase overall well-being. It's for anyone wanting to release stored tension, improve body awareness, and heal from past experiences, not just those in acute distress.
Q: How many sessions will I need to feel results?

A: Yes, I require a deposit in order to hold your spot. The deposit goes towards the total of the session. Remaining balance is due after session.
